Yay, thread! Frankly, I'm a little surprised that this one passed.
Anyway, as I mentioned in the voting thread, the new Korra episodes are a downgrade, animation-wise, from last seasons. I think it's because the budget is a little lower this season, and most importantly, the new episodes are not being directed by Joaquim dos Santos. (He directed every episode last season, along with the best episodes of Justice League). I hope that he's still working on the show.
New thread! Now I just need for there to be new episodes of Gravity Falls so I can have something to discuss here.
Not soon enough. I hope there are a lot of those shorts.
So this is where I can come to say, "How about them Ventures?".
Excellent.

Scola- On another site someone mentioned a different animation company is handling the first half of this season of Korra, with the normal company covering the second half.
I agree the animation, particularly the facial expressions, has been notably inferior this season.
I have not noticed any inferiority. Hm.
I haven't either. I guess I am oblivious.
This AVClub review is all about the differences in animation between S1 and S2: [link] (spoilers for the last episode)
Wow. That article pretty much nails it (and I never would have paid attention to the blinking before.)
I actually liked this episode quite a bit.
Kind of disappointed to find out that Unalaq is just a straight-up bad guy and Korra's attacking the judge on the road seemed a little overzealous,
but all-in-all it was enjoyable.
