Yeah, I'd agree with that.
'The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco'
Animation 1: I'm Not Bad, I'm Just Drawn That Way
A thread to discuss television and online animation.
I'm not sure I understand completely what happened with Jinora at the end, but I'd agree. It felt appropriate. Then again, I liked the Book 1 finale more than most, apparently.
I agree, the Jinora thing was really unexplained.
I was also confused by the Jinora thing. Glad they went out with a bang. I am surprised that they're doing such a big shake-up to the status quo after only two short (compared to A:TLA) seasons.
Going back to the broadcast episodes, I also liked the possibility that Bumi's crazy stories might not be the tall tales everyone assumes they are. He did get promoted all the way up to Commander after all, I'd imagine just being Aang's son only took him so far.
Also, good to see some of the old, competent Bolin back at the end of the season, plus some of the throwaway humor from the past.
Bumi and Bolin are both awesome.
In the finale, I especially loved the shot of Tenzin, Mako, Bolin, and Kya. The four elements stepping up to defend Korra.
Yesssssssss that was great.
Yeah, that was pretty sweet!
So was I the only one with tissues in hand for the final episodes?? I'm such a softy. Co-worker didn't know about the web early releases. And they didn't shed a tear. Pfft. Oh well.
(eta spoiler font. Not really spoiley, but, just in case)
I got a little misty at the moment Dana mentioned above.
Nice.
