We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Hmm. It's October 24th, and while it's possible, I'm unlikely to be employed before Thanksgiving.

Should I try NANOWRIMO this year? It's probably my only chance until I retire...

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

We're in a gated community, so general curb scavenging is not an option.

Ohhh. That's a huge bummer. At least as far as getting rid of shit. Me, I'm worried about calling the city for Large Trash Pickup (TV, treadmill, broken vacuum cleaner...) because you have to do it a day in advance, and I'm afraid all the stuff will be gone before they get there. I guess they must be used to that, though.

Because books.

Do it, Consuela. Even if you just set a specific goal rather than a whole novel.

Actually, I might do that, too. Hmm.

Happy birthday, Kate!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Happy birthday, Kate!

There is a woman on this episode of Family Feud whose name is Malaise.

Ha!

Ouch, ita. Yeah, that's all I got.

Dana, I would see what Freecycle can do today and take the rest to recycling tomorrow.

Go for it!

It's going to be National Revise a Novel Month for me.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

Kate, Happy birthday! I *could* do Nano, but I've got to have wisdom teeth out on the tenth(Blech! Also, kinda scary, even though I only got two) and I don't know how much writing I could do that week, and I've already tried it twice and never really got anything I used.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

NaNoWriMo is too much pressure for me.

brillig

I sign up for NaNoWriMo, then my lizard brain sticks out its tongue and yells "Can't make me!"

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I've got laundry in, and have done some uncluttering that wasn't on the list. My back still hurts and it's giving me a headache, so I'm thinking the tub scrub will not happen.

But I will get to the other items; I will just do them REALLLLYY SLOOOWLLYY. The back meds have rendered me sleepy and molasses-y. But I do so love the smell of lemon oil.

I'm also waiting for the iPod to charge so I can get some dusting/sweeping tunage going. I've done 1 20/10 clean so far.

Baby steps...

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Onerous Task Day: just being here at work counts for me today, I do believe.

Yes. I mean, I know more about anesthesia than I did at 7 a.m. but I don't really care.

I also heard a Miley Cyrus song again. I hate the radio.

(even though I worry about Spencer :( )

I think we all do.

And Urie's overall tattoo situation. I mean, it's better than just the first but, oh, honey, those are permanent.

There is a woman on this episode of Family Feud whose name is Malaise.

She should marry a General.
