Zoe: Planet's coming up a mite fast. Wash: That's just cause, I'm going down too quick. Likely crash and kill us all. Mal: Well, that happens, let me know.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

Kate, Happy birthday! I *could* do Nano, but I've got to have wisdom teeth out on the tenth(Blech! Also, kinda scary, even though I only got two) and I don't know how much writing I could do that week, and I've already tried it twice and never really got anything I used.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

NaNoWriMo is too much pressure for me.

I sign up for NaNoWriMo, then my lizard brain sticks out its tongue and yells "Can't make me!"

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I've got laundry in, and have done some uncluttering that wasn't on the list. My back still hurts and it's giving me a headache, so I'm thinking the tub scrub will not happen.

But I will get to the other items; I will just do them REALLLLYY SLOOOWLLYY. The back meds have rendered me sleepy and molasses-y. But I do so love the smell of lemon oil.

I'm also waiting for the iPod to charge so I can get some dusting/sweeping tunage going. I've done 1 20/10 clean so far.

Baby steps...

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Onerous Task Day: just being here at work counts for me today, I do believe.

Yes. I mean, I know more about anesthesia than I did at 7 a.m. but I don't really care.

I also heard a Miley Cyrus song again. I hate the radio.

(even though I worry about Spencer :( )

I think we all do.

And Urie's overall tattoo situation. I mean, it's better than just the first but, oh, honey, those are permanent.

There is a woman on this episode of Family Feud whose name is Malaise.

She should marry a General.

Because books.

She should marry a General.

Heh.

Does anyone want S3 of Deadwood on DVD? We somehow have two. I think one is my brother's, but he's not a rewatcher.

She should marry a General.

Earlier I used the phrase "general Halloween party" and decided that General Halloween, U.S. Army, would be a GREAT costume. I don't know what it would look like, but I'm sort of envisioning an Army uniform and a great big pumpkin head.

A solemn, noble pumpkin head, like that Bill Murray portrait.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

OK, this is totally awesome: [link]

Not just the way she does it, but the other astronaut talking about how she grew her hair out on purpose so that it would be really obvious that there was a woman on the space station, for all the girls watching.
