What should I do, then? Send her a gift? Sacrifice? … Unholy fruit basket?

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

My husband wants me to haul everything back inside. Hell, no. Not by myself.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh hell no. I'd put a "Curb alert" out anywhere that is free to list, and hope for the best. You can bring it back in later, if need be.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

IME, the people of Freecycle will take anything and everything, quickly.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I'm officially calling it. Dana gets a do-over on today.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I say stick a sign on it that says "Free Packing Material" and hope for a scavenger.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

My husband wants me to haul everything back inside. Hell, no. Not by myself.

Can you put all that stuff out for the trash? While I make serious efforts to recycle/reuse, at some point, getting the shit out of the house is worth more to my peace of mind and quality of life.

Because books.

Around here if you leave anything decent on the curb, someone will take it. Leave it out there for a while.

We're in a gated community, so general curb scavenging is not an option. My vote is that we just load it in the cars and take several trips to the nearest recycling center.

I don't know if they trash guys would take it, but they picked up this morning and won't be back until Monday.
