Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Work update: boss was happy to provide a sub for my classes for the rest of this week, so we are now working on getting that set up. I also need to talk to the palliative care nurse if I can.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Good. You need to take care of =you=, Burrell.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

The kids tend to read their own hair as blonde and their parent's hair as brown.

Or, as my sister once informed my mom, as "tree bark. " I'm not sure she ever quite got over that one.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Flea, I meant to ask--how old is Casper, again? Because that's some sophisticatedly stylised work! I'm impressed and appreciative.

Sue, the Hague is straight up movie stuff to me, and the details are making it even cooler. You want it? You should totally have it if you do.

Any Visio users here have a good set of computer shapes they can hook me up with? I have found adequate shapes for servers, but ones for 2013 (or 2005!) computers, laptops, phones, TABLETS are outside my reach right now. Most of the resource sites focus on different sorts of diagrams from mine.

Cubemate gives the pie the thumbs up, volunteers to beta test the J'can sweet potato pudding.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Yeah, that artworks is so excellent. It is really wonderful and makes me feel ever more inadequate. I'm an adult and I couldn't draw like that if I tried and had 3 assistants.

I was thinking about making pumpkin ravioli, but that seemed like too much work, so I decided to make pumpkin lasagna instead. Now I have roasted pumpkin and lasagna sheets in the refrigerator and I need to find some motivation to cook.

I have too much stuff to do to feel this futless.

Word to the mother. I like looking at good artist's childhood work, and trying to see when you could tell, but it's so rare. I imagine it would look like this, though.

information libertarian

Casper is 10. The manga drawing is new - her brother got a "how to draw manga" book as a gift a couple of weeks ago, and she started out tracing them, but now is doing freehand drawings in the same style. She's always been pretty gifted, artistically. If I had to pick one thing that is "her thing," it would be drawing.
