I was thinking about making pumpkin ravioli, but that seemed like too much work, so I decided to make pumpkin lasagna instead. Now I have roasted pumpkin and lasagna sheets in the refrigerator and I need to find some motivation to cook.

Word to the mother. I like looking at good artist's childhood work, and trying to see when you could tell, but it's so rare. I imagine it would look like this, though.

Casper is 10. The manga drawing is new - her brother got a "how to draw manga" book as a gift a couple of weeks ago, and she started out tracing them, but now is doing freehand drawings in the same style. She's always been pretty gifted, artistically. If I had to pick one thing that is "her thing," it would be drawing.
