If the Tea Party is still considered a significant force in Republican politics, then we may see a bunch of Republican Congressmen doubling down on the stupid.
This was a narrative I heard a lot after the 2012 election, which should mean that this IS the double-down. I really hope so, because otherwise the next round of doubling will be getting into exponentially-deep-pit-o'-stupid territory.
(Not to mention because I really want them to take their toys and go home real soon now, especially the parts that infest the NC state house.)
Parts of Utah are very sad we don't have a means to recall politicians. We apologize for that idiot Lee.
Just redacted details of an incredibly frustrating conversation with a co-worker. No wonder nothing gets done.
Well, there go our dinner plans. The bag of frozen chicken breasts we had bought at Costco is indeed marked with a batch number that's on the
"Whoops, salmonella"
list.
oh DAMN. do you get $$ back?
Theresa, I hope your grandmother has a peaceful passing.
oh DAMN. do you get $$ back?
Supposedly, yes. I'm really glad we double-checked the batch numbers, because Pete's digestive system is touchy as it is. If he'd gotten hit with salmonella, there's a very high chance he would have ended up in hospital.
Jilli,
if you cook the crap out of it though, it is likely the salmonella would be gone, yes? Not encouraging you to eat it, but checking against my understanding.
Recalls don't help that much.
