I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I have cleaning acoutrements, and am sticking my foot in a bowl of icewater. Spied the best thing at the grocery store for my predicament: kitty litter at half the weight! I'm sure it'll be terrible, but at least there will be fresh litter for a bit.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I still have a huge bowl of homemade butter cream icing in my fridge. I should probably bake something to put that on instead of eating it by the tablespoon.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Did I mention that my therapist of the past 5 or so years is reluctantly retiring because of medical problems? Cassandra's been a great sympathetic ear during the past few years of stress and change and I'm very sorry to lose her. (I didn't realize that when she cut back her client list last spring, I was one of the 5 clients she retained out of 28.)

I suppose having a new therapist might be a good way to get me to change things up and shake out some stuff, but I will definitely miss Cassandra.

"...and then Legolas and the Hulk destroy the entire Greek army." - Penny Arcade

On the New Mexico thing, here's the Congressional Record on the subject.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think I would do a lattice on top of blueberry pie.

Oh-ho-ho. Am I special enough for a lattice? Maybe I am. See if I do shit like that for the office, though.

What fruit pies are people's favourites? (Uh, I'm looking for ideas, so nuts and meringues are not in the scope of my questions).

Just wrote up the recipe to store in Evernote. I feel very fancy. I wish I hadn't lost my cheesecake one. Huh. I submitted a recipe to the Buffista cookbook, didn't I? What was it?

Concord grape is my very favouritest pie. A bitch to make. They're what I imagine bubbly pies (?) from Dragon Riders of Pern taste like.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

squee - 5 of the 9 things I have for sale on ebay are selling! WHEE! I am actually beginning to see the results of the de-cluttering efforts. I am very close to being able to get rid of two pieces of storage furniture that I do not like. Also, mac is regaining about 1/3 of his room through culling. If I can keep up the effort and actually get around to dealing with my clothes, I will be very happy.
