I think I would do a lattice on top of blueberry pie.
Oh-ho-ho. Am I special enough for a lattice? Maybe I am. See if I do shit like that for the office, though.
What fruit pies are people's favourites? (Uh, I'm looking for ideas, so nuts and meringues are not in the scope of my questions).
Just wrote up the recipe to store in Evernote. I feel very fancy. I wish I hadn't lost my cheesecake one. Huh. I submitted a recipe to the Buffista cookbook, didn't I? What was it?
Pumpkin is a fruit, right?
Concord grape is my very favouritest pie. A bitch to make. They're what I imagine bubbly pies (?) from Dragon Riders of Pern taste like.
squee - 5 of the 9 things I have for sale on ebay are selling! WHEE! I am actually beginning to see the results of the de-cluttering efforts. I am very close to being able to get rid of two pieces of storage furniture that I do not like. Also, mac is regaining about 1/3 of his room through culling. If I can keep up the effort and actually get around to dealing with my clothes, I will be very happy.
Apple pie, when it's made with granny smith apples and brown sugar. Otherwise, cherry. Blueberry's good, too. Or pumpkin.
Basically: mmmmmmm, pie!
Congrats on the sales, msbelle!
I think my favorite fruit pie is seasonal: cherry, raspberry, blueberry, apple, pumpkin.
I still have a huge bowl of homemade butter cream icing in my fridge. I should probably bake something to put that on instead of eating it by the tablespoon.
I'm not so sure of that, really.

I'm weird about fruit in a baked concoction. I'd rather have apple crisp than pie, berry cobbler than pie, and just plain old cherries out of a bowl than pie.
But pumpkin pie is KING.
I haven't baked an apple crisp yet! I need to rectify that situation.
