She's unBelizeable!
In Oppositeania, this is where the "Theo, Jamaican me laugh!" goes. But that's in Oppositeania, not here.
In This-Ania, OMG chocolate covered blueberries from Bissingers are
crack.
I am so addicted, I need to not buy any more for a week or two. I brought a bag in for cubemate (not cubmeat, where did that come from, brain?) so he could get a taste of what chocolate I could eat without adverse affect, and then a bag for me, which I forced myself so share so I didn't snarfle it, but then I found an extra bag in my car, and WHAT. I forced some on the nurse, but I'm still staring at most of the package.
Said cubemate, who's food-triggered two headaches so far, brought in a fruit and nut bar for me, so he could feed me safely. I hope I get to keep this seat when I get a new department. He rocks.
Thanks to Anne, I can corroborate this.
Happy Birthday to the 13ers!
I just spent 2 hours catching up in this thread, that's the kind of Sunday I'm having.
Stuff to do, but not doing it.
Speaking of movie group, did you all know Jack Daniels has a vanilla flavor whiskey?
Black Velvet makes a Toasted Carmel flavor that is like crack to me.
Well, the Saints had to lose at some point this season.
Isn't it too early in the game to know that, Dana?
It is, but I'm preparing myself.
Went outside, and it was a mistake -- there's a street fair on my street! And it was worse a block away. Yikes. Hiding back in the house again.
Ugh, yesterday our neighbor's dog bit our other neighbor's 7 year old. As far as I know (we were not home and the parents were not present), E. was walking her doll carriage down the sidewalk and neighbor M. was unloading groceries and the dog got out and just ran up and bit E. She has 12 puncture wounds on her upper arm, through her shirt, and they think it will scar.
What do you do with a dog like that? Is M. obliged to have it put down? Our kids are out on the sidewalk all the time; M. is not home much, as far as I can tell.
The Saints look like Jilli dressed them today.
flea,
first, what are your city guidelines? I think the dog needs to be quarantined and assessed. If they don't keep the dog indoor all the time and on a leash all the time, they may have to put the dog in another home and/or put down.
