I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

nothing as bad as real bad stuff, but boss at work just had the guy he was doing stuff with in the conference room go get lunch AND THEY DID NOT ASK ME IF I WANTED ANYTHING!!! Boss is running between the two of us doing different projects!

Sure I ate some warmed up oatmeal cause I was hungry and I get hollered at if I go for lunch before the guys who get in at 6am, but seriously, you don't the 3rd person working in the office. Asshats.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That sounds cautiously promising, ita.

Because books.

It does!

msbelle, that's just rude. Rude people suck.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

And thoughtlessly jerky, msbelle.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Fingers crossed, ita.

Cash, I STRONGLY recommend that you drink lots of Gatorade/powerade kind of drinks to make sure you stay hydrated all the way through to tomorrow.

And msbelle, agree it's totally rude.

As for me, I'm in the hospital with my sister, who is getting a new chemo later today. I'm hoping it does what it's supposed to do this time.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Best of chemo to your sis, Burrell.

Apple support gave me back a computer with a blank drive ( happens) that I can't plug my power cord into (should not happen). Sigh.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Agree. Rude.

ita ! as you say promising. You may want to send your doctor an email thanking him for the productive meeting and (in the guise of praise) documenting everything he promised to do and the timeline. Ending by saying "I really appreciate your commitment to doing this in a timely fashion, and to keeping up better with the prescriptions." I know I'm being cynical but....

Then keep a record of the email however you best keep important records - from just being sure not to delete to putting it in a special folder and printing it out. Whatever works for you in that regard.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Back at work doing desk-work. Boss lady asks (states) that I go into work this coming Saturday and I can do armchair supervision of the volunteers via the intern. Um, waste of my time? We worked it out, but my mind boggled that she fully expected me to hobble down my stairs, drive into work, sit on my ass and tell hardworking people what to do (and expect me not to get frustrated and start doing things that I really ought not to be doing physically).

ED is still going on about how she agreed to a Tuesday through Saturday schedule, and I'm getting to the point where I'm going to take him up on it, screw being a team sharing responsibilities.

Old boss lady would have been "I'm taking all Saturdays until you're 110% healed, and we'll work it out down the line".

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Spent most of the day in the office but am now camped out working in front of the A's game.

Still no news on what happened to my co-worker. Apparently her husband found her and there was no obvious cause.

One of the things she and I had talked about last week was relocating my cube to be closer to my boss. I mentioned this to the person who is reassiging work (and I felt so petty bringing it up cause it feel so inconsequential). It has been decided that I should wait a few more weeks so that I can move into her cubicle which is closer to my boss than the originally targeted space. So now I feel like a vulture.
