Whatever the setting is that shows the least posts without unfriending has saved me from my friend's husband. Occasionally I get a glimpse of him, but I don't even want to think about what he's been posting this week. Keep in mind, he is bankrupt from medical expenses and would still be living with his mother if he didn't marry my high-earning friend.
Natter 72: We Were Unprepared for This
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
What do we think about roasting and then freezing root veg? I could re-heat in a hot oven and they would come out OK, right?
I am highly in favor! IME, works great.
Congratulations, Frank!
Strix, that sounds like a really uneven friendship. I'm sorry she decided to end it in such a cowardly manner.
In other news, I hate Articulate.
We're playing a 90s show tomorrow night. A benefit. Am nervous about playing but I think my outfit is good--overalls, Docs, and a teeny tiny Tupac teeshirt.

Exxxcellent!
Holy crap. Just got an e-mail that one of my co-workers died last night. I was talking with her yesterday and have worked with her since I moved to Colorado five years ago.
So far no explanation of how - just that she "passed away unexpectedly". I'm stunned, shocked, reeling... She is just a bit older than me and has a daughter, about the same K-Bug. I.... Crap. Crap. Crap.
Yay Burrell's sister being a bit better.
Boo kiddos who can't get their shit together to do homework or pass classes. God knows what I'll ever do if I have kids like that--my slacking off was, like, getting a B. I wouldn't have the faintest what to do with them.
And if I WEREN'T doing well with my depression, this last week would have me in a shuddering mess on the floor, and instead of going semi-catatinic, I'm PISSED, applying for jobs, and cutting my hair and doing housework. So fuck her.
Aw. Sorry about the friend Strix. Think she'll come to her senses? 20 years is a lot to throw away.
First project for the brand new head of the business I support, a guy who is very senior and known in this industry. One of my guys forwarded me his reaction: "I think she nailed it."
Kick ass, Brenda!!
Suzi, I am so, so sorry.
Good going, Brenda!
One day Adobe products will make an easy and seamless transfer from one computer to another with no complications, and I will most likely pass out from the shock.
All sympathies, Suzi and workplace.
