The upside of lots of family weekend work is that I'm too tired to do anything fun/spendy. I'm getting a haircut tonight, doing a lot of cleaning of my grandmother's apartment on Sunday, and possibly nothing in between.

I have to figure out when to go retrieve the dog from Milwaukee. Would be easier tomorrow because I wouldn't have to come right back (I have plans tonight in Chicago) but I'm kind of inclined to go now anyway.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.
All I know is that I'm making pie. Maybe two, if the new pastry goes well, one for work. Next week I might even move on from apple! I've only ever made apple (and the odd pumpkin, but bleh) pie.
