Spike? It's you. It's really you! My therapist thought I was holding on to false hope, but…I knew you'd come back. You're like…you're like Gandalf the White, resurrected from the pit of the Balrog, more beautiful than ever. Oh…he's alive Frodo. He's alive.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Dana, ants don't like used coffee grounds. If you sprinkle some where the ants are getting in they will disappear. I wish I had learned this years ago.

It is astonishing (and more than a little hilarious) how long you can rehearse a shoe being dropped.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Is there a lot waiting for the other shoe involved?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I like lamb, goat, and goat cheese. Like sheep's milk cheese too. Hell, I like rabbit. Turns out I am an omnivore.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Not sure I've ever eaten goat, but I love baby goats, they're so cute. And goat cheese. And lamb, even though lambs are cute too.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

My mother ruined lamb for me by

overcooking the hell out of it. Turns out that I like it when not cooked to gray. But I still have to get past the fact I can smell it and it smells kinda like the overcooked version. Lamb is delicious but tricky for me.

Did you all know that polar bears and grizzly bears are hybridizing?!

Yep. It's a little freaky. But evolution is happy to dance with anyone it can.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I like all the meats except frog legs. My taste in cheeses is pedestrian. I only like mild nonmoldy cheese. Except blue cheese. That's good.

Lifetime limits are a horrible cheat. My current insurance has a million dollar lifetime cap. Hopefully that'll take me through to retirement and Medicaid. Or Medicare. I get them mixed up.

I think part of my brain was looking for a punch line along this line most of the afternoon.

I'm digging this show though. It's like Our Town meets The Marriage of Bette and Boo.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Did you all know that polar bears and grizzly bears are hybridizing?!

I did! I once came across this fringe theory of evolution that claimed natural selection was a less significant driver than hybridisation. (And also that ankylosaurs were really mammals and the ancestors of armadillos.) One of the odder theories invoking actual science I've come across.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I like lamb, although I can fill up on it really fast. The one time I had goat it was ok, although nothing for which I'd go out of my way. There are very few cheeses I've tried that I haven't liked, except for mild cheddar. (Seriously, what's the point? Put that stuff back in the cave for another year or four until its good and crumbly.)

I am awake and at the airport. This is so wrongly early in the morning I can't even handle coffee.

Also someone turned on the tv here in the gate area and its talking about slaughter numbers and corn prices.
