I am awake and at the airport. This is so wrongly early in the morning I can't even handle coffee.
Also someone turned on the tv here in the gate area and its talking about slaughter numbers and corn prices.

There are very few cheeses I've tried that I haven't liked, except for mild cheddar. (Seriously, what's the point? Put that stuff back in the cave for another year or four until its good and crumbly.)
Calli is me with regards to cheese. Good cheddar should bite back a little.
What the hell time is it in Sioux City? Waaay tooo early.
I was surprised to find out about pre-existing conditions a few years back, since MA didn't allow insurance companies to use them. I was living in a protected world and didn't even know it.
Theo, I left the hotel at 515, my flight was at 630. I'm now at ohare for a few hours, wishing the "nap pods" business was already running (apparently it exists in Philly and Atlanta)
Timelies all!
I like lamb, though I tend to have it in forms that are mixed with something else. Never had goat. Have had a few buffalo burgers. Tried escargot in Paris. Kinda like chewing rubber bands.(The garlic sauce they were in was nice, though.)
Escargot always reminds me of the time I got my parents to take me to a Fancy Restaurant as a kid. I got to pick a place for dinner when I got my report card, and until then I had always picked fast food. At 10 or 11, I picked the fanciest restaurant I had heard of, and ordered escargot and steak au poivre. I didn't like either of them! I'm pretty sure it was back to BK the next time.
The only times I've had goat was in Indian, and it was pretty cheap Indian buffet. It was OK, but nothing I'd order. I may have had a bite or two of lamb, but it didn't stick in my mind. I'd be willing to be persuaded.
And I like cheese, most all kinds except bleu. And I like stinky cheeses, I just can't get into bleu. I can go to town on the goat cheese all day long.
God, I've been sleeping weird. Up, down, up, down.
The best thing about escargot, aside from the butter, is the Paris restaurant scene in I Love Lucy.
I've come to like bleu cheese. I wouldn't stuff a whole hunk in my mouth, but I do like it on or in stuff. And one of the best meals I ever had was chicken with gorgonzola sauce, which I never thought I'd like.
I use ground lamb in my tomato meat sauce and meatballs whenever I can. I keep meaning to getting around to making lambburgers sometime.
I'm all for goat in Caribbean food. We had it for thanksgiving one year when my bestie wanted to make goat stew. We had to find a halal butcher way out in the burbs to get goat.
I'm not sure I've ever had lamb though. Not something I'd order for the heck of it, nor something my mom would make.
