Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I just read a job description at work at it requires a "two year degree in word-processing studies". Is that even a thing?

The News and Documentary Emmys ceremony isn't black tie! But the gift bag does have a ton of candy and cookies in it, so that's something.

Is it at least semi-formal?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Opinion question:

Charlie the dog (who by the way, actually does like carrots) is still getting kind of stressed out and very very barky when the doorbell rings or people approach the house, so I was thinking I would board him Halloween night.

Silly or sensible?

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

When it comes to hiring and enforcing the understanding what a person was hired for and the agreement that there are things that they must accept about their job description, it's the written that holds weight, right?

Juliebird, that would be my assumption, too.

Kate, I'm not sure I'd ask for vacation because in my private school experience it would never have been possible. Days off rarely were.

That's what I figured, Kat.

So I asked for $x+2500, and they came back with $x+1000, and I said yes! My first successful salary negotiation! Now I'm just waiting for them to send me the paperwork to fill out for my background check. Am hoping to have a contract in hand by the end of the week so I can give my notice at my current job. Yay!

Lee, that sounds pretty sensible to me. Have you boarded him before?

YAY Kate!

Have you boarded him before

Yep, at the place he goes during the day. He seems to like it okay.
