Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

"Weaving skill ropes" is what I'm learning on this webinar.

just hate how so many things like Facebook turn into echo chambers.

That's the world, though, The thing that's weird about FB is people not in it can see it.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I'm so sorry, Burrell.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Burrell, I'm so sorry. Much peace and strength to all of you.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

What gets me irate these days is seeing yet another post with the tag "if you share this, Jesus will bless you." God isn't a gumball machine -- you don't put a prayer in and get a blessing back.

Of course, the woman I did snap at a ways back for that is currently in the hospital with radiation-induced pneumonia. So maybe my carping is bad luck for the carpee.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I am so sorry, Burrell.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I hope this is chemo-related, Burrell, and your sister improves very soon.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Oh, Burrell. I'm keeping you and your sister in my thoughts.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Computer training in person was usually so boredom that I viewed it as an exercise in how fast I could switch between what we were being trained in and solitaire.

The last time I left a Snopes link, without comment, on someone's Facebook page, about 10 people Liked my link without comment. I felt like we were all rolling our eyes together.
