Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I hope this is chemo-related, Burrell, and your sister improves very soon.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Oh, Burrell. I'm keeping you and your sister in my thoughts.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Computer training in person was usually so boredom that I viewed it as an exercise in how fast I could switch between what we were being trained in and solitaire.

The last time I left a Snopes link, without comment, on someone's Facebook page, about 10 people Liked my link without comment. I felt like we were all rolling our eyes together.

Much ~ma to you and your family, Burrell.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Fuck. My boss (one of them. My boss' boss) wants to talk to me. I don't know what about and I am freaking out!

Burrell, so sorry about your sister. Hoping it's transient chemo-induced and means the chemo is working.

I'm on an educational webinar, and the guy just said to close everything else on your computer to participate. Yeah, no -- wouldn't you die of boredom without other things to do during a webinar??

This is what smartphones are for?

"Weaving skill ropes" is what I'm learning on this webinar.

...WTF???

Ugh, yes.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Always give in to the Snopes urges.

I have to say, I thought admitting to my biker cubemate that I have real biker boots and a real biker jacket would make him eyeroll, thinking I'm fashion OTT, but he offered to take me for a ride. I'm still pretty freaked out by bikes, but I don't let that get in the way of me accepting bike rides, on principle.

And he asked if I knew where to get road-ready Stormtrooper biker outfits, and I just might be able to hook him up.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I was sad the last time I saw something crazy on FB, there was no Snopes rebuttal!

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

"Weaving skill ropes" is what I'm learning on this webinar.

Your job is making you study basket weaving?!
