Angel: You know, I killed my actual dad. It was one of the first things I did when I became a vampire. Wesley: I hardly see how that's the same situation. Angel: Yeah. I didn't really think that one through.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Thinking of you and your family, Burrell.

My brother's nephew went through a lot of the same issues as Grace, poor boo, with additional woe for facial reconstruction surgery, and I had a fascinating conversation with his mother -- it had never occurred to me that if you don't learn it at an early age, eating food can be rather non-intuitive, even frightening, not to mention 'gross' to the child. But they can and do get over it, so strength to Grace.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Is there any point in posting a Snopes link on the FB of a family friend, pointing out that her copy-pasted screed against Obamacare isn't actually factual?

I know the answer is "No", but I had to ask.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I can't. She used to babysit me. My mother taught all four daughters of the family piano. They came to my grandparents' funerals.

I just hate how so many things like Facebook turn into echo chambers.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I'm so sorry, Burrell.
