which several friends of mine raved about, though I have not read it. I did read
Swamplandia
and was less than impressed. Some fabulous images, but not much to hang onto otherwise.
Also, her people are not our earth people.

I know her newest book got some good reviews, but I haven't read anything by her yet. I guess I won't rush!

I did not get the call from MacArthur. But my mom called and she may get to go home from the hospital today. She sounded strong and pragmatic. Very mom like.
I have started to love baking and bought my first stand mixer--not a Kitchen Aid, sadly.
