Yeah, I could do that, but I'm paralyzed with not caring very much.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oyyyyy, belle family!

Is it wrong that I love the Target ads with the cutesy instrumental versions of rap songs? I've seen Push It and also Hey Ya. I do realize I am 100% the target market, aside from not having school-age kids.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I hope not, because I really like those. There was an earlier one that I dug, too, but I can't remember what the song was.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

My parents are being so unsupportive of my brother's engagement. no excitement whatsoever. they suck so much. I am angry with them.

May your brother and his intended begin their lives together surrounded by so much love and joy that they cannot feel any lack in any particular direction.

I'm a fucking amazing catch!--Fiona Gallagher, Shameless(US)

The whole reason for that "Humph!" kind of parental disapproval is to get you to spin out about it. Once you don't, well, they don't *stop*, but they stop acting it out so much.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh dear, Consuela. May the vertigo from whatever cause go away quickly.

My weekend wasn't near as interesting as Matt's. I did however get quite a bit more reading done than usual and a bunch of swimming so I'm calling it a win.

May your brother and his intended begin their lives together surrounded by so much love and joy that they cannot feel any lack in any particular direction.

I can't express it any better than this.

Punishingly Intricate

And my brother the doctor called & thinks it might be viral labrynthitis, which Wikipedia tells me can last a week, and then might need months of PT to recover from. (!!!)

That sounds like what I had a few years ago. I would have not been able to type as well as you did a day into it, though. It lasted about a week (most of which I was in the hospital getting a lot of anti-viral and anti-nausea meds) but I didn't have any PT after I recovered. I maybe should have, though, because it took a long time for my balance to get back to where it was before it hit. It's never come back, though, thank goodness!!
