Buzzfeed has a list of the lowest-paying jobs that require a bachelors degree. I'm earning comparable to the ones listed, and I have a doctorate.
Huh. I make in that range and I thought I was doing pretty well. It's very possible that my job doesn't actually require a degree, though.

Done, and the neighbor's can of tuna that lured him into the building in the first place. I've wadded up a dustcover in an empty box in the corner and put an old sheet down in a corner of the bathroom, so hopefully he will demonstrate any displeasure with the situation on those and not on my good furniture. (Very glad that hardwood floors were my one absolute necessity when scouting apartments...)
I make more but have 17 years experience and live in one of the most expensive cities in the country. It's so sad, though, because I went far enough in debt when I made less than all of those that most of my income still goes to that. Ah well.
The mantra here is "Yes, but the benefits are amazing!" Which, you know, they are, but it doesn't quite make up for the shitty salaries.
