Hil, wow! Jump on it. Right? I mean, unless West Point is a no.
Work tried to kill me today, but I fought dirty and won.

I bet West Point has well-behaved students.
Third day out sick. I feel like such a loser. IDEK if I'll make it in on Friday, but god damn, I'm gonna force myself through the Saturday rental, because I need that extra cash (which makes me feel like an ass, that I'll come into work/put my health and that of others at risk for what is not my career at the place of my career, but I am poor and these vitamins and medicines ain't cheap).
I definitely want to go be an editor in Saudi Arabia, right?
I definitely want you to move to a place where I have to be sponsored by a man to come visit you, right?
Plus, I bet they don't have decent Tex-Mex there.
Yay good boob news and dental experiences!
I'll have to check my local TJs for pumpkin bread and stock up. I made it for my sister's visit last fall, and I thought she'd lick the plate. Lovely stuff.
New Brunswick couple found their horse on the roof . . you know "horse on roof" isn't a problem I bet most homeowners (or horseowners) prepare for.
Lee has provided the deciding vote, with shrift a close second. No moving to Saudi Arabia for me.
I'm definitely applying for the West Point job, once I finish getting all my application materials together. Nearly finished with my teaching statement. Barely looked at my research statement, since I've barely done any research since the last time I edited it, but I know that I can at least improve the section on how I can supervise undergrads in related research. Need to edit my CV, but that won't take too long. Still need a few more letters of recommendation.
Oh, hey, academic folk, I need advice. I need to get one or two more letters of recommendation about my teaching. Two years ago, one of the professors in my department observed one of my classes and wrote up a summary of the visit, which was very complimentary. I don't really know her, though. Is it appropriate to email her and ask if she could write me a letter of recommendation?
