Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

Modern Family has a gay couple.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Just a general TV message of "guys hugging is icky and funny, AMIRITE??! Men and women hugging is normal!"

Yes, I think that is still true.

You guys, I have to confess to you so I don't confess to my coworkers: My follow-up dentist appointment (to get the new crown) is only a half-hour, so I made the appointment for 9:30 instead of 8:30. Woo hoo, sleeping late! Or, more likely, screwing around longer in the morning...

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

It doesn't remotely look homophobic to me.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Modern Family has a gay couple.

Yes, but do they have an equivalent gay couple? Does the couple get as much coupleness as the straight ones? I think by 2005 shows should know they can have gay couples without taking a hit--even get a bump from it. But neutered gay couples are hardly surprising.

Zero heteronormative reinforcement, zero ditching gay cooties? I can't convince my sister of any sort of parity in its face, though.

Because books.

Yes, but do they have an equivalent gay couple?

The Modern Family gay couple gets lots of screen time, and story lines. They've adopted a kid (and another? I only watch sometimes), etc.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

What about Curt and Blaine on Glee? Santana?

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Not network, but primetime - The Fosters on ABC Family has a lesbian couple as leads. (Or are you looking for M/M specifically? In which case, nothin' to see here, move along).

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Teen wolf had a M/M sex scene or two last season.

Two good things about today:

Thing the first: TJs has brought back the pumpkin macarons for the season.

Thing the second: I went and had my boobs smooshed on the way to work, and I got the all clear for the third year in a row.
