Zoe: I thought you wanted to spend more time off-ship this visit. Wash: Out there is seems like it's all fancy parties. I like our party better. The dress code is easier and I know all the steps.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Wedding went off without a hitch, cousin of the mother's bride was content with the flowers I put in front of the offending mulch, rain held off until the very last guest got their car from the valet. Hopefully there won't be any complaining missives to the rental administrator. Very pretty wedding.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My hair would never be dry if I didn't use a hairdryer, unless it were shorter than like an inch. It took hours to dry just from sweating this afternoon.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I can now cross having a threesome under the open sky in a backyard swimming pool off my bucket list. Needless to say, it was a fun afternoon.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

You chose well, Matt.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That sounds wonderful.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I haven't used a hairdryer for almost thirty years now. One of the tips on handling lino for printing recommended warming it up with a hairdryer, and I haven't decided on the substitute yet--hold it face down over the hot stove, maybe?

I haven't bruised myself much recently, but you can't tell. I'm toting around bruises that are five, ten years old. I expect to take them to my grave, unless I misplace my legs before that for any reason.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

No threesome, but I did get my nails done. A satiny green and I am quite pleased with it.

information libertarian

Casper is having a total meltdown tonight. First it was crying because she decided at 6pm she wanted a pet frog, and learned that a) the frog store closed at 5 and b) we don't just buy pets on the spur of the moment, we have a conversation and get parental permission first. This fit went on for 75 minutes, then switched to a fit (ongoing; she is currently crying in the bath) over the fact that she is not going to get an iPad, iPad mini, iPhone, or iPod touch with camera for her birthday, because she is only turning 10, and we have a family iPad mini and iPod touch she is welcome to use.

I honestly think she's just having a pre-emptive freakout because Dillo has freaked out from 8-10pm every night for the past week, and she wants a turn.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

One of the times I was bruising randomly in an excessive way, it was from a potassium deficiency.

Napping sounds like a capital idea, as do Vegas and Austria. Sadly I am at work. So I can't have any of it now.

That...sounds about right. Sorry.
