Grocery shopping yesterday turned into a bit of a scavenger hunt. DO.NOT.WANT.
(Our grocery store is in the midst of remodeling, and much of the non-perishable items are not on the regular shelves. They are on metal shelves scattered hither and yon, thus the scavenger hunt.)

And I called him out about the tweet asking if he was a homophobe (I'm pretty familiar with his stuff/interviews, so the tweet captured me by surprise). He was an ass to me until my friend dream jumped on him too. Her opinion carries a lot more weight than mine, so he started to actually think about what he was saying. We ended up in circles but sort of amicable.

Oh! HILARIOUS! See how similar their handles are? And the facial hair. All those bearded men look alike to me. But that's hilarious. So this jackass could actually be a homophobic creep! The only thing that got my attention about his tweet in that article was that the interview podcasts I've listened to with Russell Brand certainly never sounded homophobic. I am actually quite happy that I had the wrong guy. Thanks!!
Le N, you're my hero. I couldn't for the life of me figure out how a guy who religiously listens to Democracy Now! could be a homophobe. And he isn't!!
