Funny thing about black and white. You mix it together and you get gray. And it doesn't matter how much white you try and put back in, you're never gonna get anything but gray.

Because books.

Do you think it might hurt when he's petted? Is he very thin?

I'm sorry.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

He's very thin. I don't think it hurts, though. The vet said he's just going to keep getting less aware--so he's in a half-dream most of the time.

He eats a little bit-the vet said when he stops altogether we would have to force feed him, but Jason and I are agreed that is NOT an option.

Sorry to hijack the thread to talk about my kittycat.

brillig

Koogie was so very thin in his last couple of years, he was an ambulatory model skeleton, with a thin skin layer over top.

Damn, I miss my lich cat. No other creature has given me such uncomplicated love. All he wanted in the world was to be draped on me somewhere.

Because books.

The thing to do is probably just keep an eye on him, and give him as much love as you can until you reach a crisis point -- he stops eating completely, or something like that.

It's always hard. I'm sorry.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, I've only had the one cat, but it was so hard -- and then one day I knew it was time. I'm not sure how, but I'm still sure I was right. I'm sorry.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

It's only the second week of football season, and I already feel like my heart can't take it.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I was just coming in here to make sure you were okay, Dana. Jeez.

I'm actually shocked they won. Neither team really deserved to.

Right? But I'll take it.

Now I need to try to recover from that in time for Breaking Bad to stress me out...
