The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That's good enough!

I thought so!

I care about your cat food!

I do too! It made me think I should try Sheba.

I am almost done with my cleaning! Which is good, because G&J are coming over after we go to breakfast tomorrow to see the house and let Charlie bark at them.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

There is a reason "dogs and cats living together!" is an expression, after all....

But I thought that reason was Bill Murray.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I care about your cat food as well!

Hahaha. I'm just glad not to be having to buy a gazillion different kinds for finicky cats with wildly differing dietary needs. Don't know if it is helping with Loki's diet plan, but my neighbor keeps insisting he's less large. And this seems like good not super-expensive, and bonus if it turns out the generic is similar enough, cause even cheaper!

One of my neighbors is doing something that involves a loudspeaker. I hope it doesn't last very long.

Also, I am pretty sure that me getting into the hammock is one of the most ungrateful things ever. I don't care, but I still suspect it's true

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Darby and Gracie are on year three of pointed ignoring. It works for them.

Ungrateful for what? I'm always grateful that hammocks exist when I get into one.

I am up to the October issue of the Smithsonian Magazine in my catching-up-on-media quest and therefore just read about the vampire panics of 19th century New England. So interesting! Especially the link to tuberculosis.

I feel like the motif of surviving family staking (or beheading or burning the heart of, whatever local custom demanded) suspected vampiric dearly departed is nicely reflected by Gunn and his sister, and so forth.

Oops. That's supposed to be ungraceful, but it got autocorrected.

I figured pointed ignoring was about as good as it would get, which is why I took the baby gate down. I am pretty sure we are past the point of potential bloodshed and that's mostly what I care about.

OH! Well, if you end up in the hammock and not on the ground you are doing okay, graceful-wise.

And if you end up on the ground but not hurt, that's good for a laugh.
