Gods ita, I'm not sure exactly what kind of hell your workplace has become, but their timing sucks.
I'm being possessed with home project ideas. And then being thwarted because I'm picky or it is really too late at night to fire up a table saw...
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

It looks a little like a hybrid to me, Tep.
That's cross-stitch.
ita !, I'm glad you got pain relief, but I wish it could be more, and permanent.
FWIW, unless CA or L.A. does it differently, when I was a DV court liaison in MO and KS, shelters would help a woman in an abusive situation file a temp restraining order day or night with the on-call judge, and restraining orders once the temp order's time was run out.
ETA: No fee.
Well, Amy's right, the whole middle part isn't really cross-stitch. But I'd still call it that, I think.
That is a crossstitch
Or if you are writing a thank you note you could use embroidery or embroidered. I don't think it is needlepoint
You could just say "needlework." Covers it all!
Yeah, I'd just call it embroidery, Steph. A lovely hybrid, as Amy says.
Sara, bosses quitting is never good, but when it's just you and him...Yeah. Apparently the projects can't disappear, and the business users like me (one was my reference when I moved from contractor to permanent), but that leaves a lot of wiggle room for stress and disaster.
And I am so unwiggly...
And now, upon googling, is there a consensus about whether it's 2 words with a space (cross stitch) or one hyphenated word (cross-stitch)?
