Zoe: Nobody's saying that, sir. Wash: Yeah, we're pretty much just giving each other significant glances and laughing incessantly.

Because books.

I've never had anything but canned beets as a child, and even now the memory makes me nauseous. I guess fresh ones are better?

I just took down the baby gate, and posted it on Freecycle!

So Dita's good with Charlie now? Or goodish?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I don't find a great deal of difference between canned beets and fresh. I like 'em both. Pickled is different, of course. But still tasty, for me.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Beets = yum.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Canned are overcooked like everything canned, I think.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm eating way different now, but I don't think I'll make it to beets any time soon. When work took me out for Indian, I had a hard time trying to find a rice replacement in the buffet, good lord. You know, something unspicy and neutral to accompany the tandoori. THE SALAD. So gross. I might be snafting as much fruit as possible, but vegetables are not that appealing.

My pain therapist has decided that art is my big way out of the shroud chronic pain places on my personality. She does know it (sometimes) involves two guys kissing, but I don't know if she really *appreciates* that.

She asked me if I drew Jamaica much, that it must have visual delights, you know with the labourers and the merchants...

THE FUCK. I told her it was my normal, so no, I didn't go around drawing everyone like they were poetic bullshit. I may not have said poetic bullshit out loud.

I'm a fucking amazing catch!--Fiona Gallagher, Shameless(US)

I've never really had the guts to eat beets. I think when I was a kid I decided they Looked Weird(but that list was way too long till I was about sixteen, so maybe I should revise.) Yeah, for you, those guys are your cousin. Which, you could draw your cousin, but he's not...picturesque to you, of course.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I don't really like canned beets. I love fresh ones. Best are the vacuum sealed ones from Trader Joe's. already roasted and peeled but I don't get so stained.

Puppycat wants to be plastered next to me. It's so hot and humid. How can she stand it? I'm letting her because I am about to traumatise her with strangers who are staying the night. Strangers to her. I know them.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just got a call from someone wanting me to take a survey, which, Saturday night at 9? Whatever. But the first question was do I work for a newspaper, radio or tv station, and I realized I had to say yes! So I didn't get/have to do the survey.

ION, I'm watching some X-Men movie on TV, and why doesn't Jean Grey have a superhero name?
