Everybody, wish me bad luck in getting a proposal bid accepted at work. I just found out it would involve cramming 6 months' worth of work into the next 6 weeks, and quite likely be physically impossible with the resources we have available. (I was all excited and eager for it when I thought it meant we'd have the project through the beginning of next summer, but the proposed schedule gets an Oh HELL no! from me.)
Rango is pretty funny, but must have given the marketing people a shit fit.(Nobody's a good tie-in, right? None of the characters are cuddly...despite what I think about Tim Olyphant.)

ita !, I've watched about ten minutes of the R&I season finale, and Lee is still there. I was worried about that, too.
I'm sorry that I didn't think to come here immediately on 9/11 -- I did later in the day, but it would have been good to share earlier.
And I didn't even think to start calling family until after 11 AM. And all the lines to NJ were jammed, so it was hours before I could get through. Not that I was worried about family, though there was an infinitesimal likelihood that somebody might have decided that of all days to go visit NYC, but that I knew my Mom would be worried about me in Boston.
I actually went in to work just to get my laptop so I could come here. It was so surreal standing on my rooftop watching the smoke from the Pentagon and all the people streaming away along 16th street.
