Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Burrell, I'm so sorry.

Because books.

I just edited a story about a new "Happy Table" McDonald's will be introducing, and my craving for a cheeseburger, fries, and strawberry shake is now out of control.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Burrell, best wishes to you and your family.

In good news, the Ford/Lincoln dealership where I brought my car on Saturday agreed to lower their bill to what Geico is willing to pay. I won't get an authentic Ford window, but that's OK.

eta: I have glass coverage, so I'll only be out $50.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Burrell,

can some other family help relieve some of your and your husband's stress? I know it can't be easy and you've been dealing with a lot.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Amy, good lord. I hope she is only bruised.

Oddly, I think much of the pain I can't avoid still is bruising. My bruise is still blue, deep blue! It should be well onto yellow by now. But I do want points for it still being in my heel and not into my toes.

Still, the quickest pain is me letting blood flow back to it. Lying on my right side for 30 seconds=first flush of pain.

HOW DUMB, STILL. IT HAS BEEN FOUR WEEKS. THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN OVER LONG AGO. Still, addressed pretty simply with ice and elevation, but not politely at the office. Boss is okay with half days, tho.

I should say still again. Still still still Stiles Stilinski moonshine still.

Oh, and re: work: HA! That's all I got for now.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Oh, Burrell. How awful for all of you. I'm so sorry.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Sitting at an airport gate and loudly playing a game on your personal device without headphones is the worst thing ever, right?

Extra info: I think it might be Mortal Kombat. Is that still a thing?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Worst thing ever, yes.

That's probably the same person who watches DVDs on the subway, also without headphones.
