You know, with the exception of one deadly and unpredictable midget, this girl is the smallest cargo I've ever had to transport. Yet by far the most troublesome. Does that seem right to you?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

No wives, just the three guys. Vance was whistling and cheering throughout the show in a very adorable way.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Vance was whistling and cheering throughout the show in a very adorable way.

Sweet.

Oh sure, TODAY it's nice and sunny, when I don't really have time to go to the beach and just washed my hair. I guess I can go down to the river for a bit instead.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Heading to Pittsburgh for a housefilk today. (Normally this weekend would be Confluence, a convention in Pittsburgh. It was cancelled this year because the hotel they signed a contract with told them in April it was shutting down a week before the con dates, and they couldn't get another hotel.) Stopping at Falling Waters on the way back tomorrow because architecture.

Sandwich is super generous with the portobellos today. NOM.

Also time to turn the ac back on, humidity is creeping back up.

Gonna go pedicure when I finish this half.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I want a pedicure! Maybe I could squeeze one in.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Did I mention my brother, SiL and niece are visiting next Monday? He didn't tell me until yesterday, which I suppose is grounds for complaint, but it will be extra-nice to have them to show around/spend time with.

(They're staying in a Cambridge B&B, so it's not a surprise houseguest visit at least!)

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I want a pedicure too, Kat. I keep forgetting to take the time to give myself one. Oh, and Kat, I have clothes for the kids. We just went through their drawers as both kids are growing like weeds these days, esp Isaac.

Which reminds me, I need to do back-to-school shopping next week. School is starting so early, I can't believe summer is almost over.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I got up earlyish this morning so I could take my car to the dealership and have them check out the very loud squealing noise my brakes have been making (as in, loud enough that other people have mentioned it), but they convinced me it was normal (they even had literature about it), so I just left (after a free car wash, which my car really needed).

I think I shall use the time I expected to be waiting at the dealership for going back to bed

Seriously intense pedicure today. ALways true when you get this particular woman. It was awesome.

Gotta decide what to do next. Must let the other half of the sandwich settle. Maybe cuddle the cats. Swim little later. Then maybe more errands and/or cleaning....
