I like pancakes 'cause they're stackable. Ooo, and waffles 'cause you can put things in the little holes if you wanted to.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

So my grandmother's funeral was great, there were a ton of people there, and a LOT of them came back to the house. It was great to see a lot of relatives who came from out of town.

That's lovely.

I've had good luck with specialty glass.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Glad the funeral went well, Jesse.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

AND we made additional progress in distributing stuff. It's so interesting to see who wants what.

brillig

Bigass storm rolling in from the south. Local news websites wtih weather radar are fun, I was able to compare the darkening clouds out my window with the color change on the computer screen.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Did you make it through the reading the way you wanted, Jesse?

more than one place where you could have a secret mailing address, storage locker, etc. Which made me happy a place existed, but sad it had to

Part of me feels intrusive because I don't want a binder out of gender fixing need, just gender bending want, and I don't want to sashay into anyone's safe space, but this is LA! I figure if it's a commercial enterprise anywhere in the US, here there's a good chance. Boobs are weird, man. It's tricky to dress 'em, even to smush 'em (hence the constant requests for sports bra recommendations).

Tommy, was there anything they were going for? I'm down two side windows and a back window (rental) in my car driving life, and the two side windows were because they saw a cell phone charger cord (I'm no idiot! It was just the cord). The back window was because my laptop was in there (I am an idiot). I too got it repaired somewhere local--I just went to the nearest place Geico recommended, I think.

Yeah, it was fine. I read off my print out and choked up a little at one point, but kept it together. My mother was also annoyed for crying during her eulogy, and I decided that the ideal thing is to keep it together for a good performance, and then totally break down as you walk back to your seat. I'm just saying -- you want people to know you are grieving, but you also want to make it through the reading!

That would be very cinematic of you. But I doubt I could do it. Glad you made it through, though sorry someone was being a weird jerk. Who does that??

My big issue when my window got broken was that I was an hour away from home--I ended up spending the night at a friend's up there (unplanned) so I could at least drive home along the highway in the daytime. The auto glass place was close to work, though, and fixed it up pretty quickly/easily.

Oh yeah, no one could do it in real life!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Jesse, I am glad it went ok for you.
