I decided that the ideal thing is to keep it together for a good performance, and then totally break down as you walk back to your seat.
That would be very cinematic of you. But I doubt I could do it. Glad you made it through, though sorry someone was being a weird jerk. Who does that??
My big issue when my window got broken was that I was an hour away from home--I ended up spending the night at a friend's up there (unplanned) so I could at least drive home along the highway in the daytime. The auto glass place was close to work, though, and fixed it up pretty quickly/easily.

Oh yeah, no one could do it in real life!
Jesse, I am glad it went ok for you.
ita !, they didn't take anything. There was just a small hole in the glass, but the whole thing had shattered. When I closed the hatch, all the glass fell out. They must have hit it pretty hard, as there was glass all the way on the dash.
ita, I think I missed context. You're looking for a binder? I can check with the swarms of trans peeps I know on Tumblr, because I know they've done a bunch of
where to get binders and what to know about their fit
posts.
Jesse, I'm glad it went as well as possible.
I bit the bullet and got some maintenance work done on my car. I knew it wouldn't be a simple oil change and I had a number I was hoping it would be under in my head. As I was talking to the guy about what needed to be done he also tried to sell me on refinishing my headlight glass, which is another project I had in my list. As I was adding up the costs in my head, I think he thought I was balking at the price and excused himself for a minute to talk to the manager. Came back offering the headlight work at half price and then 15% off the whole total. Final payment was a out $70 less than I had mentally allocated and I hadn't asked for any concessions.
Oh, heavy rain in the desert. Such a glorious thing. It smells good, it isn't muggy afterwards, it generally drains out of the way quickly. So very, very blissful.
Jilli, she wants to try one on in person, which is something I wasn't sure where it could happen in LA. Though possibly a medical-supply store. I feel like its probably knows where those are.
I keep sleeping away my Saturdays. I cannot believe that I really need 13+ hours of sleep on any day, but yet if I lay down, I will fall asleep.
