Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Bastards!

Bâtards! Come on!

Ortho appointment in ninety minutes. And my phone will tell me when I need to leave to get there. Why won't it tell me to leave now, though? When can I get that Android upgrade?

I think everyone is nicer to me in the new job, even my old job. Old boss asked me to do old job next weekend, and I couldn't say no (only remotely qualified person is being mother of groom then). I got bounced back onto the support SWAT team, the analyst I fought with keeps coming over to visit (twice so far today), the guys in the new area are offering me all sorts of help and stuff.

Wait, maybe it's the foot and absence making the heart fonder. I shouldn't jump to conclusions. So to speak.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

having a good day at work today. The new Handbook, which I have been working on for two months is done! And Friday free lunch is Panda Express today.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I am having a TOO QUIET day at work, at least so far, which should mean I get my timesheets done, but instead means I am sitting here stressing out about how much I need to get done this weekend to get ready for vacation.

At least we get to leave early.

What are people doing this weekend?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Taking the family to a water park! Check out this website, I think it was originally designed in Geocities:

And then buying a TV, as a belated 12th anniversary gift to ourselves.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That site is amazing.

I just went to Home Goods and Cort Furniture Rental Clearance Center with a coworker and then walked home. Too bad I didn't quite have the right shoes on, but it's real nice out!

I will be skipping my 20th hs reunion, going to the farmers market with the rents, seeing a movie at the fountain theater and eating fresh green chile. Then flying back to Baltimore.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

My weekend? Karate on Saturday, movies, sleep, farmer's market, more sleep, try to finish a necklace I've been working on, maybe another movie. Should probably toss in some cleaning. Maybe. No kids, no big plans.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

As I expected, contacting the Classroom Hotline about the too-hot classroom did nothing at all. It was marginally cooler today, though I'm not sure why -- they didn't bring in a fan or anything. We propped the doors open, which may have helped some, since the hallway is air conditioned. Still way too hot, but I was at least able to get through a whole lecture.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

My weekend? Writing. Maybe unearthing the floor in front of one of the wardrobes. If I'm *really* lucky, hitting a couple of thrift stores.
