The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Lee is going with "sneaky."

Tom said I could!

But actually no--I think sneaking too.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

LEE IS CORRECT.

Our wings are not tired.

Hivemind question: Which is right--I have a sneaky suspicion [that X is going to happen], or I have a sneaking suspicion?

THING.

Me too, even though she is WRONG.

Punishingly Intricate

javachik is correct!

My friends just took the Queen Mary 2 to move to their new life in London. It wasn't that much more expensive than flying the 3 off them over plus taking a non transatlantic cruise week vacation.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Heading to WorldCon tomorrow after work. Need to pack.(Not that difficult a task, as it's mainly deciding which t-shirts, and which earrings, to bring.)

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Jesse -- My moving experience with Gentle Giant was extremely pleasant, at least as much as moving is going to get. They figured out ways to get stuff in and out really efficiently (like handing boxes over the side of the stoop railing instead of carrying them down to the ground and then up the steps) and did a couple things like above & beyond, like setting up the bedframes and mattresses. They're pricey, but worth the cost for the careful service.

OTOH, you can always get the local company called Death Wish Piano Movers, just because their name is so neat.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You know what? When I got quotes last time, Gentle Giant was right in line -- because they actually included everything in their estimate, and the actual price was what they had estimated. Will use them again! I'll save some money on parking permits this time, at least.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

heh ... I passed a Gentle Giant moving truck this morning and wondered about them.

Then I had to dodge the motorcycle ON THE SIDEWALK! and thought about other things.
