See, NM has always had plague outbreaks, so I can't say it triggers me. And we don't even BBQ marmot.
My eye is returning to normal but still blurry due to the goop I have to use 4x a day. Apparently the normal treatment is about half that but mine was that bad. Yay?
Now if I get a cold it will mean I hit the vacation trifecta!

Seeing posts from my friends this weekend and today at the various march commemorations. It's cool, but I wonder if I would have gone, 50 years ago. Will there be stuff 50 years from now that I'll be all "oh man that was historic, wish I'd been there"? Occupy doesn't seem like it. Obama's first inauguration, I do wish.
Continuous exposure to news feeds can be very stressful. When I worked at the news clipping agency I started keeping track of how many violent deaths I heard about in a year, then stopped when it passed a thousand in the first two weeks.
But I do miss being so up to date on world affairs.
