Continuous exposure to news feeds can be very stressful. When I worked at the news clipping agency I started keeping track of how many violent deaths I heard about in a year, then stopped when it passed a thousand in the first two weeks.

But I do miss being so up to date on world affairs.

Our wings are not tired.

As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly.

I love you, you Nubian, but of course you already know that.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Danglerack Stinkyrash

That marmot is hysterical. They possibly should have picked a less cute/human sitting marmot picture.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

WKRP is just an amazing show -- it holds up just as well today as it played then, with bonus nostalgia elements of the 70s disco era. (A big big pity that the music wasn't cleared with future syndication and DVD rights secured -- but of course, DVDs and even cable didn't exist back then.)

I worked college radio when WKRP was on. My radio buddies and I adored the show. Though we always commented that the show didn't show the same degree of inter-departmental dating that went on. That may have just been us, however, college students running wild.
