Found music is the best. Since I've been swimming I've been listening to the same 7 hours of music, but some of it still catches me by surprise.

Yep - 12 full albums I added tonight and then a couple of songs from another.
I just listed 21 CDs in a lot on ebay. seems like the only possible way I can get any money for them with no cases. This lots was mostly 1990s country. Next up will be early 1990s Hip Hop., a lot of 14 CDs.
The big lots are gonna be 80/90s pop and then 90s/2000s alternative/singer songwriter.
Well that just got my heart rate up. As I was shutting down electronics for the night a fire truck pulled up to my building. I went to my front door and SHIT smelled smoke. I didn't see anything when I opened the door so I put the door on the cat carrier, threw my keys and wallet in my bag and put on some lounge pants. No one has banged on my door and the firefighters outside are acting pretty leisurely so I'm guessing its under control.
Yikes! Stay safe!
Truck is leaving. Jeez.
As soon as the truck left, Rosie came to sit on my lap and purr for a bit while i sat in the dark listening to the insects chirp outside. My heart rate is back to normal. I may be able to sleep soon after all.
I'm glad it turned out to be nothing except scary, aurelia.
Mr. Flappy is back. I thought he'd gone out last night; I opened the door and quivered flat on my back on the couch, watching him flutter madly in circles around the living room, and then...I didn't see him for several hours.
He's a literary bat, at least; he was hiding behind the dictionary and started flapping about again this morning.
I tried to free you, Mr. Flappy. I'll be calling Animal Control. I hope they catch and release you.
He may be the same bat getting in through the same hole. It's the season that young, inexperienced bats are starting to stake out roosts, which leads to unexpected encounters on both sides.
So glad aurelia's nighttime excursion was concluded safely.
Me, I'm starting my pre-colonoscopy fast day. Lemon popsicles are OK, it turns out -- not one of the bad dyes (grape would be right out). As it turns out, something I ate at a barbecue (salmon burger) did not agree with me, at any rate... I'm already fairly empty. SIGH
Good luck, Theo. Try not to do too much while your body doesn't have a lot of fuel.
Go outside, Mr. Flappy! Indoors is no place for a bat.
I could definitely use another couple of hours of sleep. Oh well.
