The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yeah, that's not bad news, Lee!

Unless you are trying to save money for vacation.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Here's the article, -t. [link]

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Unless you are trying to save money for vacation.

Oh, sure, that -- but you could have found dresses you needed at Michael Kors or similar. You are saving thousands a pop!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

True! And I did find a couple of pieces on clearance that will be good for both my trip and work.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

There, see? (I am currently planning many many future expenses without enough consideration of my actual budget.)

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

We just need rabies checks and a bat litter box training system. Marketing opportunity!

I WANT A PET BAT.

(No one is surprised by this statement, are they?)

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

(No one is surprised by this statement, are they?)

Not even a little.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Flappy is an excellent name for a bat!

Speaking of bats, Franny has to read a book a month for school, each a different genre. The genre for the first month is "animal fiction" so Franny decided to read The Adventures of Sam the Bat. So that's been fun, watching her read it herself.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I've been thinking about getting a dress or two for fall. But everything seems to be above the knee, and that's not going to work for me.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

In fifth or sixth grade I got an assignment to read a book about a foreign country, so I grabbed a novel that was set in Canada. It was terribly boring and I began to panic that I wouldn't finish it in time. Eventually found out that I just needed to read some five page factoid booklet that was mostly pictures and then I was pissed.
