In less dramatic news, it's no official that L. will be playing on two soccer teams this fall and probably spring. One team is U-13 which is 11 v. 11 and the other is U-12 which is 8 v. 8. It'll be fun.

I am super annoyed that Costco switched to Pepsi for their fountain drinks. An icy cold Diet Coke with that soft lumpy ice sometimes was half the reason I was drawn inside.

Man, a friend of mine posted something on FB about Coke being So! Dangerous! to drink, because it is Acidic! and will Destroy! Your! Stomach!
So I pointed out that the human body actually produces acid In! Your! Stomach! to digest food, and it's Way! More! Acidic! than Coke, and our stomachs seem to handle that just fine.
Her response? "Well, it's still bad for you because of sugar." Nice attempt to save face, lady. Too bad it had nothing to do with your original claim, which could have been verified/shot down using the magical glowy keyboard box you use to post incorrect shit on FB.

Mmmmm, delicious, delicious chemicals. (I really do love that sort of tangy metallic flavor that aspartame has. Regular Coke tastes weird and syrupy to me and Coke Zero with splenda is just gross.)

I am with Jesse and Jessica, I think it is the chemicals that I like, because I like no other soda, just diet Coke. I love that little tang- it almost feels (but not tastes) like eating a lemon.
