But? There's always a but. When this is over, can we have a big 'but' moratorium?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Sleepy. And in a hotel room, working and watching The A-Team movie. Stupid but entertaining. But stupid.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

In the airport. We have an hour-and-a-half until boarding.

Working. I am in acronym hell.

(Why yes, Swype, I do want to add "hell" to my dictionary... Sheesh.) (And yes, it knows sheesh, but not hell. Seriously.)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

We had pizza and beer in the atrium just now, and why is it that drinking a beer in the lobby seems fine, but now I'm at my desk, and it seems crazy? Esp. because if I were more committed to drinking, I would have finished it by now....

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am ready to leave work and get some Wii Fit time in with mac. We did it last night (2 nights in a row for me!) and I am a little sore today. I think tonight I will see if he will do some Zumba or Just Dance for part of the time.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Kate, better yet? This wasn't a student! It was someone who works in the provost's office.

!!! Good lord.

I've spent the last hour researching drop-in daycare centers in the town where M teaches. Conclusion: There are very few, and the ones that exist are, for some reason, unlikely to be licensed by the state (and therefore subject to some regulation/oversight). I think I've found one halfway decent place, though.

This is because I'm flying out to Colorado next Friday for my uncles' wedding, and M is teaching a class that day, and we just found out that Rose's daycare will be closed that day. So our options are finding a drop-in daycare, finding a babysitter who can come to our house midmorning on a Friday, or M cancelling his class. Since the second option does not actually exist, and the third option is really a last resort, I'm hoping the drop-in daycare works out...

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

shrift,

it has been a dream of mine to go to Hawaii, so I might ask you about where you are staying and if you like it.

brillig

IF we went to Hawaii, Hubby might refuse to leave. He misses it more than Montarey.
