My main Swatch was black and yellow. That's the one I had for the longest.
I also remember fetishising Banana Republic back when they did the travel schitck. I still miss some of those clothes. But I have enough BR shit now to make up for it multiply. Which is the same spelling as multiply. Huh.
My sister's not due for HOURS and the CO monitor is beeping and I can't get to it--I can just touch it, but not climb onto anything to read how to open the battery hatch. WHY IS IT WEDGED SHUT?
I just had this vision of Casper sitting around 30 years from now, chatting with her friends using her brain-embedded chip or whatever, all, "Remember when we were in, like, 5th grade? And shopped at Justice? And everyone was so into duct tape? And those shoes, what were they called - oh, Toms!"

Justice is my favorite store at Rookwood Commons. Whenever I'm over there, I get all excited for a minute, and then I realize that it doesn't sell what I think it should sell.
Does anyone remember swatch-guards? They were likeajelly bracelet knotted over your watch.
Our local, online paper went THERE with Project Fresh Start! Now the comments section gets to be all about the Welfare Queens and the people using food stamps but having expensive smart phones.

I, for one, think that if you lose your job and need to get food stamps step one should be to sell your smart phone for whatever pittance you can get it for and spend twice that much on a flip-phone mid-contract. ::eye-roll::

I need to see if I have any pictures of myself in the high-waisted, pleated, black pants I wore every Thursday for years in the early 90s! My Thursday pants! I was trying to see if anyone at work would catch on but they never did.
The 90s are a fashion blur to me. Except for an excellent coat I bought with these great, silver toggles. I still have it and wear it. Best coat, ever.

I just spent $150 on a balance bike for Owen. He still hasn't learned how to ride a 2 wheeler and he's 9. He has horrible balance so I hope this helps.
