Darth Tigger is graduating? That's...unpossible! And yet EXCELLENT. Go Emmett!
Natter 72: We Were Unprepared for This
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Holy cow! Congrats to Emmett and them that raised him!!
No question that going through high school sucks more as a parent than as the student. I would go through it multiple times myself rather than try and drag the boys through it again.
Is he excited about college? What kind of a program is he entering? (forgive me if I should know this, mind like sieve you know)
Congratulations to Emmet and his family!
Wow, I am really not ready for Emmett to be a college student!
Wow.
I cannot believe it!
But Woo hoo and congratulations to Emmett!
Weren't you a college student yourself when we started all this, Jess, or just barely done?
Emmett is an awesome kid, big and brawny and goofy and broad-shouldered and willing to carry Matilda to bed each night and help her pick out the right dress to wear to his graduation ceremony (it's covered with hot air balloons). I am so ridiculously lucky and blessed to be a part of his life.
That's awesome. Congratulations to Emmett, and to his family.
Good news on the interview, ita.

He's cautiously excited about college. Not as gung ho to go as I was. He loves his friends in High School. He told me I couldn't look at his Yearbook because of things people wrote about him but I took peek anyway. He's well loved by his friends in return.
He's interested in kinesiology, and Sonoma State has a good program for it. Most importantly for him, Sonoma State was voted as having the best college dorm rooms in the country. Woot! One of their townhouse suites shared by 6 students.
It's a pretty campus, and while he won't play on the college baseball team (which is Div 2), they have a club team that he wants to play for.
It's only an hour away, so far enough away to avoid drop-ins, but close enough for Matilda to visit and vice versa.

That's a dorm? Daaaaaang.
