Hey Zenkitty!
I like wine too. But not as much as I like sleep, reading or cheese, apparently.
We took Noah for a momday and ended up at this awesome candy store called Lolli and Pops. It was awesome.
In other news the Kings won again. And Grace is chanting Jonathan Quick's name. Which is something...
She has another surgery tomorrow, with possible decannulation. I don't have my hopes up. She also had summer school start today and the bus was many minutes late, so we ended up taking her to school (then two different banks, then pedicures, then going to my district, then dim sum, then candy store, then home, then a drive to a place in downey).
Ugh.
I also turned in my teacher of the year application and essays. Thank you to Amy and pix for the editing help.
That's a long day, Kat. All kinds of ~ma for surgery tomorrow.
Another surgery? Wow, good luck. I feel like she just had one!
Btw, don't know if I mentioned, but my mom had surgery and it went well--they're checking out all the pathology to make sure if the cancer spread, but they thought it looked good I guess.
Fingers crossed for Grace
We just introduced the kids to The Simpsons. They liked it. Quelle surprise.
Fucking hell. I can't sleep. Mouth hurts still. Pain meds aren't touching it and I've tried an assortment. I gave up on tossing and turning, so I'm watching a movie and working.
Best of luck, Theo!
Good Stuff just did a whole raft of women in STEM. Balance, people.
Still awake. Will have to go cruise Good Stuff cause working anymore at this point will result in having to review/redo.
I hope you get some sleep, Suzi.
I hope all continues to be well with your mom, meara.
Good luck, Grace!!
I just woke up a little worried about having screwed up the timezones for a call I scheduled for this morning, especially since one of the people is doing the call at 6am their time, but I had it right, so that's good.
I'm sorry SuziQ.
Thanks for the heads up, zenkitty! There's an eLearning opening there that looks right up my alley.
I'm glad things are looking good for your mom, meara.
I hope the surgery goes well, Kat.
