Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Still awake. Will have to go cruise Good Stuff cause working anymore at this point will result in having to review/redo.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I hope you get some sleep, Suzi.

I hope all continues to be well with your mom, meara.

Good luck, Grace!!

I just woke up a little worried about having screwed up the timezones for a call I scheduled for this morning, especially since one of the people is doing the call at 6am their time, but I had it right, so that's good.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm sorry SuziQ.

Thanks for the heads up, zenkitty! There's an eLearning opening there that looks right up my alley.

I'm glad things are looking good for your mom, meara.

I hope the surgery goes well, Kat.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I also didn't realize that IEEE would have their own jobs site! That would be good inasmuch as I speak fluent Engineerise.

Crossing my fingers for this surgery to be the one.

Had to fight Loki for my shoes this morning. Cat has a serious shoe fetish.

I think the ac is going in the bedroom window tonight. Humidity has hit that critical point. Didn't break a sweat drying my hair but it took for-freaking-ever and I'm sneezy and headachy now.

Yeah, I'm starting to get "breaking a sweat just sitting still" events. I suppose it's Because June.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I feel almost embarrassed at feeling too warm and uncomfortable in what counts for balmy everywhere else, but it's San Francisco. We're not used to the high 70s!

Medically, all kinds of surgery~ma to Grace and her caregivers, and yay mom of meara! And Suzi, I so hope everything has finally kicked in and you were able to crash.

We had a serious Freecycle score last night: a giant bag of girls' costume pieces. Matilda spent the whole night posing in front of the mirror dressed as Moaning Myrtle and swaying all over the apartment dressed as a a hula girl (the hallway is littered with shed bits of raffia). She was so happy she actually cackled with glee. Cackled!

And now off to work and the early Tuesday meeting, and then a long day in the non-air-conditioned, 7-foot-high-windows-facing-the-afternoon-sun office. Bleargh.

not your mom's socks.

So much surgery~ma to Grace. Suzi, I hope your pain is eased.

Good luck to all job seekers.

I adore Matilda. Just sayin'.

I did get a few hours of sleep but was up before my usual alarms. I've been trying to get some work done, but my concentration bites. Mouth just refuses to calm down - ibuprophen, lorazapram, warm herbal tea, plain oatmeal, wearing my bottom brace, not wearing the brace. Nada. I have left a message to see the dentis today. If she has no ideas, I'm calling my regular doc. This is NOT ON.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Suzi, maybe you need a stronger painkiller than ibuprofen. (Sorry if that's the totally obvious conclusion you already arrived at; I'm undercaffeinated at the moment.)
