The most wonderful thing about wearing a uniform in high school was being able to roll out of bed at fuck'o'clock AM and get dressed in the dark. Didn't matter what I pulled out of the closet, as long as it covered all the necessary bits I'd be fine.
Then junior year I started driving myself to school instead of taking the bus and that's more or less when my morning coffee habit began.
I am trying to get him to shower at night and lay out clothes IN THE BATHROOM for the next day. It could not be any easier. We may start loading the car the night before also, to get into that habit before school starts and then we just have the bookbag already in the car each night. One less thing to forget.

He is only 12, so it shouldn't be the same as a 17 year old.
I think it's worst when they're in middle school - around 14.
you all do have a pool going for who has to come to help me through the mental breakdown in the next 2-3 years, right? I mean, I'll give up my master suite and all for whoever can live in for bit. just sayin.

yeah, it is such a shock. I feel quite badly for his friends and family. Apparently R&I is still filming and they called the landlord to check on him because he didn't show up for today's work. landlord opened the door and found him.
