On an actuaql offer? Like, you could just reply and accept and you have a job? Not weird to ask for more details.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Yeah, "medical" could mean you get in a pool to lower rates, but you're responsible for all of it. Or it could mean the company picks up 90% of the tab. That's probably a difference of multiple hundreds of dollars per month, so I'd definitely want to get more details before accepting. That said, congrats on the offer!
And thanks, -t and Theodosia!
Yeah, an actual job offer.
Definitely ask for more details. That's ridiculous to give you something so vague.
Sounds like HR wants to play hardball -- you have more bargaining room if you get them to specify BEFORE you accept.
Agreeing with everyone that an actual job offer means you get to ask for more details. Congrats!
First day of summer vacay and the skies are grey. Oh the irony! I'm still aiming for either pool or beach later today, and maybe a bike ride if it stays cool this morning. Need to air the kids out or they will be as stinky as old fish later.
Good news, Dana -- and yeah, definitely ask for the details!
Go you, Calli!
I am continuously surprised by school year schedules in other places -- here, they aren't getting out until June 25!
I thought y'all would like to know that the Moncton shooter was captured without further incident overnight, and the Globe and Mail reports that residents of the area that was locked down for 30 hours were lined up at Tim Horton's at 7:30 a.m.
Our district just recently switched to an earlier schedule. It used to get out mid-to-late June and start in September. I don't think anyone has fully adjusted yet.
I hope the summer camps have, at least!
residents of the area that was locked down for 30 hours were lined up at Tim Horton's at 7:30 a.m.
Of course they were! You should have seen Dunkin's here, after our lockdown last year.
